SYNERGY

Note:  The Dharma Quest  is a programme of the SYNERGY School, a modern Mystery School (as described by Alice A. Bailey). We define SYNERGY as a School for World Servers.

For us, as a bunch of people who have chosen living, learning, working and growing together, the most basic aspect of the change that is needed, for all of us to be able to face the coming years, is a change of consciousness.

We cannot resolve the crisis that Humanity is going through right now with the same psychological structure that actually created the problems in the first place.

As a therapist and a spiritual coach I have been saying this for more than thirty years. I´m so glad that this has become mainstream now, showing a growing mainstream concern about the need for change.

What was needed, thirty years back already,  were volunteers who would effect a thorough and careful investigation of what the roots are of both the climate crisis and the sorry state of affairs around the world. This volunteer process, this experimental programme, has been going on for more than twenty years now, and we are ready to share our conclusions.

Beginning, of course, with our own doorstep, the Earth Sanctuary, which was created in 1998. The Earth Sanctuary has a triple nature : it is an ecopsychological project, a center for Applied Psychosynthesis, and a group whose life is dedicated to what the Eastern philosophies call Dharma, creating a balanced Path between Earth and Sky.

 The Dharma Quest  exists to empower people to go on a Journey into their own conditioning, and thus find creative solutions to their current problems, which we think have been created by a vastly erroneous education, not by a faulty wiring of the human brain. The programme is based on the latest findings in Transpersonal Psychology, on the basis of Assagioli´s vision for a whole human being (the core group of the Earth Sanctuary is being trained by Will Parfitt, UK, right across generations) and on a well-tried group processing methodology, the fundamentals of Humanistic Psychology.

The programme is not advertised anywhere and is not commercial. Admission to the programme is determined through the understanding and previous training of the candidate(s). A team has already been working for several years on the cultural structures of the Collective Unconscious that block the way to a positive resolution of problems that everybody is encountering, in their personal situation and also in the working sphere,  – with extremely positive results.

The Dharma Quest is basically Applied Psychosynthesis, with an added flavour of Ecopsychology and Neo-Druidry (OBOD, UK), because our concern for the environmental crisis is a top priority. We have been trained as individuals, but also as a group, to work with people, individuals, groups and organizations. Psychosynthesis has been described as “a psychology with a soul”, because it touches spiritual levels. When we say spiritual levels, we do not mean “otherworldly”, but we do point to an ethically integrated conduct, with an emphasis on caring about the world, about ourselves and our loved ones in it.
