Lothlorien-Nemeton Grove

The Lothlorien-Nemeton group, which was until now a Seedgroup of OBOD (Order of Bards, Ovates & Druids, UK), has now trans-formed into the Lothlorien-Nemeton Grove, since two of us are bona fide Druids (in OBOD terms).

In fact the word “nemeton” and the word “grove” are synonyms. They both mean “a sacred space for druidic teachings and rituals”, generally a clearing in the forest; the Druids did not build temples, the deep forest was their temple, and did not write down their teachings. The forest itself was a School, a “nemeton”.

The Lothlorien-Nemeton Grove is dedicated to Ecopsychology, Applied Psychosynthesis and generally to the protection and maintenance of 108 acres of woodland in the mountains south of Barcelona, Spain.
